Project Overview
Phoenix Labs is a Vancouver based game developer known for games such as Dauntless and Fae Farms. We were tasked with creating a logo reveal that would play upon game launch across all of their game titles.
Taking their established branding, I developed multiple concepts for 2D and 3D visual approaches capturing the symbolism and meaning behind the flame; a rising phoenix, telling stories around a campfire, and the building of an idea. I art directed the design and animation which incorporates all of these themes into a low poly construction of a spark turning into a flame.
