Project Overview
Griffith Observatory is an icon of Los Angeles, a national leader in public astronomy, a beloved civic gathering place, and one of southern California’s most popular attractions. The concept behind the rebrand combines the importance of the observatory as an architectural place/icon with its mission to bring the world of astronomy to the public. With this in mind the new logo-mark integrates the upward gaze at astronomical phenomena with the iconic architectural silhouette of the dome.
